Tips:

  1. DO NOT bring Over-sized Coolers.  48 qrt. Coolers fit in all canoes. 
  2. Bring Dried Fruit and Nuts for snacks instead of candy and chips. 
  3. Water filters work well in our waters. Purification tablets in your re-usable drinking containers are also a good idea.
  4. Bring charcoal (for cooking) and then use the coals to kick-start a nice evening fire.   Firewood is usually available.
  5. Completely dismantle your fireplace before breaking camp...remember, "Leave No Trace."
  6. Keep a Camera handy....Wildlife is all around you and so are your friends!  Take lots of pictures... 
  7. Have a group Prayer before Bed & Breakfast....Amen! 
  8. Put away food and hang trash from a tree limb at night... Nocturnal critters do exist ....
