FAMILY DISCOUNTS are offered for all children age 6 - 12 years of age or group size as long as the child is paddling in a canoe with at least one adult OR at least two (2) other pre-teens. Children under 6 years of age are FREE. GROUP DISCOUNTS are based on the number of paid participants. CANOE-CAMPING DISCOUNTS shown below offer per person (per day) discounts based on the number of paid participants. DISCOUNT PACKAGE PRICES BELOW are based on confirmed reservations (deposit required) in advance. "Drop-ins" are welcome but package prices are slightly higher. Discount packages above require advance deposit of $20 per canoe. "Drop-ins" and "stand-bys" are welcome (if canoes are available) but prices will be slightly higher. Trips reserved in advance are always lower priced. Solo Kayaks (and canoes) are rented separately at the daily rate of: $30 Tandem (2-person) Kayaks are available "First-come, First-served" Canoe Seats, Cushions and Back Rests may be rented at our office Sales Tax is not included in prices (6.25% will be added to the final balance) "Eastex Canoe Trip Packages Include...." : OUR EXPERIENCE - Eastex Canoe Trails has been in continuous operation since 1978. Our friendly and professional staff will personally assist you or your group leader to plan a safe and memorable adventure for everyone. Our Equipment - Eastex Canoes utilizes quality Canoes and Kayaks to suit your Family or Group needs. Our boats are specifically designed for Optimum Performance and Safety in these waters. Paddles and Lifejackets of all sizes are available from our OUTFITTERS at the Put-in. Our Service - Your SAFETY is important to us! Eastex Canoes has a fleet of Suburbans & Vans for our Shuttle Service. Eastex Canoes WILL NEVER ask You or Your Children to Ride in the Back of a Pickup Truck! All our Vehicles are Well - Maintained and Equipped with Cell Phones for your Convenience and Safety. Upstream Van Shuttles begin each morning at 8:00am and operate continuously until about 3 pm in the afternoon. For your Convenience, our staff will retrieve all equipment at the Take Out(s) FREE of charge until 6:00 PM each day. For the safety of all our visitors and staff, all rented canoes must be returned before 7:00pm or they will be considered LATE.
